Low Flow at One Faucet
When water pressure is normal throughout the house but one faucet has weak flow, the problem is likely closer to that fixture. Aerators and faucet components can collect debris or mineral buildup and restrict flow.
That situation is very different from low pressure at every fixture, which may point to the building’s supply system.
Replacement and Installation
Replacing a faucet or sink is also a good opportunity to look at the shutoff valves and supply hoses underneath. Those parts may have been untouched for many years and become difficult to service once a new fixture is installed over them.
